01

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE?

Natural lifestyle storytelling. I love helping to make memories you can keep and hang on your walls. Documenting you as you are in the moment, is what inspires me and drives my passion for photography. I love that I get to freeze time and showcase who you are and what people love about you.

It’s all about the beauty of life and your story. Let’s tell it together.

02

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

I’m in York Region, Ontario, just North of Toronto.

03

DO YOU TRAVEL?

Yes! If you live within an hour of Aurora, I will happily come to you with no extra charge. If you’re outside that area, there may be a travel fee added to your session.

Destination weddings? Yes please! My bags are packed and I’m ready to celebrate and explore with you!

04

DO YOU HAVE A STUDIO?

No, I don’t work in a studio. Instead, I come to you! I join you in your home or we meet in the great outdoors.

Let’s be serious, having your photo taken isn’t easy. It’s awkward. And that’s normal! I find being in your home helps ease those feelings. You’re more comfortable and relaxed. And I’m able to help showcase the real you through my photos. The you who is cozy in bed with your family. The you who is cuddling on your couch with your partner or building puzzles and towers with your toddler.

Plus, coming to your home for your photos makes them that much more meaningful. As the years go by, you update your home, redecorate your home, move to a new home… but you’ll have these images and memories of this home as it was in this moment of time. I love that it adds that extra layer to your images.

05

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

You can’t go wrong with neutral colours.

I personally think the most important thing is to feel comfortable and confident in whatever you wear. If you feel comfortable, you’ll look comfortable. We want to document your beautiful, authentic self.

If we’re doing a family session and you’re wondering how to dress your family, focus on coordinating colours. Stick to solids, instead of patterned clothes, which can look too busy. And pick two or three colour options that go well together. Everyone can then pick something from those colours and you’ll have a lovely cohesive look.

And it’s also really good to focus on your own personal style. As I said, we want to show who YOU are in photos. So dress in what you love, in what makes you smile, and you will shine.

06

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY PHOTOS AFTER THE PHOTO SESSION?

I know - waiting is the hardest part! I try to get your images back to you as soon as I can. I’ll send you a sneak peek within a week of your session to show you a little taste of what we created together and your full gallery as soon as I’m able.

For maternity, newborn, family and engagement sessions, turnaround time is typically around two to three weeks. For weddings, it will take closer to six to eight weeks.

07

HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY PHOTOS?

I will always send you a private online gallery with your high-res, print-ready images. No proofing needed! The photos are yours. You’ll be able to view and download your images on your computer and/or phone. You can also share your gallery with family and friends and they can download as well. Makes sharing your photos so easy!

If you would like a USB of your images mailed to you, let me know! I’ll happily send out a USB as well as your online gallery. There will be an extra charge for the USB.

** Galleries are left up for as long as I can. Although, after time, I will need to take your gallery down to make space for others. So ensure you download your images when you’re able. And I recommend you download the full gallery to your computer.

08

HOW MUCH TIME SHOULD WE SCHEDULE FOR WEDDING PHOTOS (COUPLE PORTRAITS, WEDDING PARTY AND FAMILY PHOTOS)?

I love to have at least an hour with my couples for your portraits. Think of this time as a calm, quiet hour soaking each other in and just being together for a bit before all the guests want to surround you with love.

Wedding party photos typically take about thirty minutes, depending how big a party you have.

Family photos depend on how large a family you have and how many groupings you’d like. If you have a large family with lots of different groupings, it may take 45 minutes. If you have a smaller group, it would take closer to 30 minutes.

Basically, the more time we have for photographs, the better! But we will work with your schedule and ensure we document every special moment.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOUR WORK BUT MY BUDGET JUST DOESN’T COVER IT. WHAT CAN I DO?

Get in touch! I’m happy to figure things out with you. I totally understand that everyone has a different budget to work with and life is wild sometimes. We can discuss a few options to make you (and your budget) rest a little easier.
